The project “ENGAGE – Energy Efficient Communities” is dedicated to empowering local governments and citizens to work together to reduce energy consumption, use renewable sources and build sustainable communities.
Through support to pilot municipalities and concrete examples of introducing energy efficiency measures, the project shows how real and measurable savings can be achieved through the cooperation of all stakeholders – citizens, public institutions, experts and the business sector.
The goal is clear: to improve the quality of life, reduce costs and contribute to the fight against climate change. The project includes activities such as energy consumption mapping, citizen consulting, educational workshops, as well as the promotion of concrete solutions – including the installation of solar panels.
Special focus is placed on direct communication with citizens through “Community Energy Advisors”, who help households understand how to reduce bills and increase energy independence.
